Wise beyond her years, Chynna Mamawal is a young designer emerging with utmost grace and confidence–two characteristics embodied by her designs. A trained entrepreneur and an artist at heart, her strong foundation in business and her distinct taste in fashion led her to build the Chynna Mamawal Atelier and further explore the depths of it. Charging ahead, her bright-eyed outlook on the fashion world allows her to subtly stun people through incorporating elegant twists in her feminine designs.
Her journey in breaking into the fashion industry began when she was just in college with her previous clothing line, Curves, a small fashion empire that catered to the different body types of every woman. Years later, she joined SM Retail Inc. and spearheaded the marketing team of SM Woman and GTWbySM. She is the woman behind its successful campaigns and marketing efforts. A proud achievement of hers would be the SM Woman’s 2017 Holiday campaign featuring Kim Jones. She then went on to study at the Institute of Creative Entrepreneurship, honing her skills as a budding craftswoman in the world of fashion today.
Taking sartorial cues inspired by her travels, Chynna Mamawal learned early on that her designs and her styling must, one day, ooze sheer femininity and sophistication. As a designer with a meticulous eye for detail, she constructs each and every piece with high value–may it be a bold slit on a gown or a delicately placed bow. In her own words: “My only intent is to provide women with what they truly deserve: The best.”
Much like the designer herself, a Chynna Mamawal woman is headstrong, determined, and has the capability to carry herself independently through achieving her goals in life.
